I have just had my hair cut a la Vic Beckham ( topcelebrity-hairstyles.blogspot.com/2009/07/victoria-beckham-hairstyle.html ) but the product I bought makes my hair really scrunchy and the minute I mess with my hair (or one of my two boy) the product looses its 'grip' and hair goes all frizzy. I can't really not use any product as my hair is naturally too corse and frizzy.

Anyone would recommend a good product for very short hair that actually lets the hair move a bit? A putty maybe? I don't want to buy and buy three-four products before I find the right one! Thanks!

You could try Stonefish by Fish from Boots.

Good stuff.

I too have a v short pixi crop and use my DH's 'Amercian Crew' moulding mud type stuff. I like it. It does smell a tiny bit blokey but you only need to use a tiny bit. HTH.

I have had short hair for years.I always go back to fudge wax.Actually the fructisse green jar wax is good too. Love that hairstyle, bet it looks fab be great for the spring and summer, that is if we get one. My stylist by the way uses a product on me called "punked up" not sure who by, maybe the crowd who do "bed head"

I find that the putty consistency is usually matt.Whereas wax is a gloss finish maybe better for your hair.I am only going from my experience.I am sure there will be a stylist around who can advise more.

I have a similar 'do and have just bought Bed Head Manipulator (£6.99 bargain from TKMaxx) which seems to do the job. It is fairly shiny but not greasy looking and can be restyled without frizzing. It smells of pineapple and coconuts.

I use a Sebastian clay but it has been discontinued and I don't know which of their new range is equivalent. V V matte finish because I HATE wet look on me
