This dress from NEXT caught my eye, but is a lot more patterned than my usual attire.
Im a tall size 18 and 21 weeks pregnant, would it look 'ditsy n pretty' as I hope or like a huge floral something?

its a lovely dress, think it would be flattering as it has that bit of smocking/empire line. Go for it!

Very pretty. Will look lovely will leggings too

Mimi1977 · 24/01/2010 22:08

That meant to read lovely WITH leggings! Sorry.

I think it's nice - its shaped so that even as you expand frontwards it won't look tent like. Like the sleeves.

I think you can get away with a slightly different look when pg, even if you are not normally a 'print person'. What I hate - and I say this as an old bag mother myself - is that kind of reversion to girly whirly dress or dungarees and bunches look that says 'gosh I'm having a baby so I'm obviously so YOUNG!'. (NB you are probably far younger than me anyway)

bellissima - quite possibly not! Not feeling at all youthful at the mo!

So, general consensus seems to be - wont make me look excessively floraly huge?

Will order and see what its like in the flesh!
