Boden Amalfi dress-all things too bright and not so beautiful?

I usually buy one or two of this style of dress from Boden each year. This time I just can't decide if I like the prints. They all seem a bit too big and bold and bright (and some are too reminiscent of 1950's kitsch wallpaper). Has anyone bought one? What are your thoughts?

the only one I vaguely like is the orange one but not that keen on any tbh either

i quite like the look of the red one but agree some of them look like wallpaper. i think they would work well on tall curvy figures. i'm too flat chested to carry off the look.

I quite like the brown one, even though I have to agree that it's rather like the wallpaper my mum had in the end of the kitchen when I was about 3. The blue is horrid, like Laura Ashley c.1989.

I like the blue but the other prints are real 70's wall paper

I'm unsure about the Amalfi too. Strangely, my two hyper-critical teenage DDs loved it. I ordered the blue but decided to return it until the sale in July!

Green one reminds me of a dress that I was given when I was about 12 - a hand me down from an older cousin who must have worn it circa 1972. Not quite as bad as the green 'Slinky Wrap' which is most definitely Olive from On the Buses.

(Green is one of 'my' colours. a nice green dress I would buy. These are not nice green dresses.)
