Driving shoes

Does anyone wear them?

Am wondering about getting some dressy sale boots but worry a)that they'll get scuffed on the frint b) about driving with a heel.

But taking shoes on and off seems a faff, I have to drive between different workplace sites several times a day.

Any views on this?

I always have a driving shoe, old ballerina flat in the car - I drive an automatic, so I only need one!

Use it when I'm wearing heels which don't fell 'safe' to drive in IYKWIM.

I wouldn't buy a specific pair - well, actually I might use it as an excuse to buy a nice pair of flats

I always drive barefoot.

I also have an automatic, so I wonder, could I get away with just one old flat slip on shoe in the car?

(I do have a pair of driving shoes, supposedly Prada, that I got off ebay before I had DS. If I managed to find them, I would probably worry they were too nice to drive in...)

I also drive an automatic and have been having the same thoughts aar!

I have only been driving since december and previously only drove in some flat shoes (one flat shoe actually....) and have only within the past 2 weeks been wearing heels to drive in. Now, they are not high heels though, only 2 1/2 inches max but I am happy to say these have been fine (for me it's more about the sole, I like to be able to feel my pedals, and for the soles not to be slippy!)

My problem is that my recent heeled driving shoes are very boring so I am on the hunt for some others.

I cannot wear my fly london mol boots to drive in because the sole is simply too lumpy and chunky, I do not feel safe at all!
