Mrs Shop Lady told me to use a maximum of 2 pumps but that is such a tiny amount that it doesn't even cover my face, even if used incredibly sparsely, let alone my neck too!

hmm, i was going to post something about this! i think i use about four pumps each time i apply. Which means one bottle only lasts about two weeks. i've been thinking lately that it's too expensive and i will have to stop using it, even though i always get the '3 for 2' offers. i mean, if you added up the cost of using a bottle every fortnight over decades, it would be pretty and you could probably do something rather more exciting with the money

1 dollop on the frown between my eyebrows and spread upward over forehead.

1 dollop on each crows foot at corner of each eye and spread out, up and down.

1 dollop on each nose to corner of mouth line and spread along top lip and up and over cheeks and down along jaw line.

I find the plastic tube better than the pump bottle... you can get more out of it at the end.

I find it lasts 5 weeks.

I don't use the pump one any longer, mine is in a tube.

But - I have found a method of spreading it better. I put it on really quickly after my toner, and because my skin is a little damp from that about 2 pumps worth spreads over my whole face and neck.

One tube is lasting me about 5/6 weeks and that is using it morning and night.

just done my nightly application and the amount i used was five pumps, and if i hadn't been thinking about it i'd probably have used six. no wonder it doesn't last long.

Bodenbabe · 21/01/2010 23:09

Yikes, I'd expected it to last much longer than that! Horrors.... Lumnar, you have a good idea about only using it on the relevant areas, I think I will stick to that!

crikey, I use 2 pumps and thats plenty....perhaps I am doing somethign wrong...

Chandon · 22/01/2010 11:41

soooo is it really good???

kissmummy · 22/01/2010 21:50

Harrogatemum perhaps you just have a small face?
Chandon it's hard to know really, isn't it? when i first started using it i'm sure i noticed a significant difference, so i kept on using it. but you don't go on noticing a difference, if you see what i mean. i'm told my skin looks much younger than my age, and now i sort of don't dare stop using it, but i think it's unsustainable really as it's too expensive. i used to love my £3.99 moisturiser by Garnier but they phased it out and i was never able to find anything i liked until P+P.
