hubby going to the U.S...what shall I ask for ?

He is going to Santa Clara for work and asked me if I want anything.I have looked up Uggs and they seem to be cheaper so I have requested a grey pair( Have worn my chesnut to death).

Is there anything else that is particuarly cheaper over there . I can't seem to think of anything I want but while he is being generous I don't want to miss out.!

I would ask for those Not Your Daughter Jeans (NYDJ) or whatever they're called. They've got the hidden tummy support thing going and I could really do with a pair . They're much cheaper to get over there as you don't have to pay postage. They do sell them on ebay but I heard a lot of them are fakes.

sounds good but I really need to try jeans on as I do have a large bottom despite being a size 10., some jeans make it look ginormous. thank you though

Most designer labels are cheaper there - CK, DKNY, DIOR.

Uggs are definately cheaper than here.

Jeans are cheap.

oooh! - I'm in Santa Clara. The best shopping is at the "Valley Fair" mall westfield.com/valleyfair/ (hope that works!) and it's all under one roof so man-friendly They have Abercrombie & Fitch, Kiehls, American Apparel mentioned by others plus a million and one other stores. I like Sephora there for make-up if that's what you're into and prices are much cheaper than in the UK on all makeup brands. Hope he buys you something nice!

7 jeans (bootcut). They are half the price of the UK and flattering to those of us with a lot of junk in the trunk.

Get a 28 if you're a size 10. If they dont fit you can always flog them on ebay.

my brother used to live in Los Gatos. I love Northern California and would love to have your climate NOW... and love Valley fair. I am still wearing some of Banana Republic clothes that I bought to return to work after DD1 - who is now 6!

bishboschone, the only place I have seen Ugg boots is in Nordstrom at the Valley Fair mall - I'm sure there must be other places that are cheaper though.
