Best mascara?

Just off to Boots for a new mascara.

I've got long but fine and pale lashes. I want one that will bulk them out but let them stay soft - I don't want spiders, if you know what I mean.

Any ideas?

YSL - love it and will never use anything else now. When I first bought it it was for special occasions but then i couldnt use anything else because they looked so good.
I think its the faux cils one I have

Bobbiewickham · 20/01/2010 11:10

Thank you!

Does it leave them nice and soft then? I can't stand it when they go rubbery.

A more budget friendly option is Max Factor 2000Calories. It's my every day mascara and I love it! Does exactly what you want. No crusty spider eyes!

Its perfect, they still move not stiff or clumpy and you can just do one stroke for daytime or I pile it on for nights out
be warned though, you'll never be able to go back to a cheaper mascara

Brilliant!

Thanks ladies!

Will flutter them at you when I get back...

Don't go to Boots - order a Blinc one online - they are fabulous!

RocheMoutonee · 20/01/2010 11:17

either faux cils or dior show
i prefer the brush on sior show as its HUGE

fauz cils one looks measly in comp now

Bobbiewickham · 20/01/2010 11:20

Oh no...dilemma now!

And I was all decided on faux cils.

But now I won't be able to get the word "measly" out of my head.

Gah.

What to do, what to do?

goa dn get them to try each eye

LilRedWG · 20/01/2010 11:22

Seriously, Blinc does exactly what it says on the tin. Doesn't run, flake or smudge and goes on a dream.

Bobbiewickham · 20/01/2010 11:24

I'd try for the blinc, but I need it today.

Running out, and can't not have mascara in the house. I look porcine without it.

Shall I get both?

No idea than, sorry. Next time - order Blinc before you run out.
