Muddy Puddles. Excellent quality and last for ages. True to size but generous, iyswim (DS1 who is 9 and usually in size 9-11, depending on brand, has only just outgrown their size 7-8 so we got 2 years wear from them )

nevergoogledragonbutter · 19/01/2010 19:16

Muddy puddles are all sold out of all-in-ones.

Any alternatives?

Vertbaudet?

TK Maxx now sell ski wear online too.

Could also check La Redoute's sale items.

The Muddy Puddles salopettes are good - they come up very high at the back with thick braces - so no drafts (in case that was your reason for wanting an all-in-one)

Togz Warm & Dry Suits?

nevergoogledragonbutter · 19/01/2010 19:22

Thanks, i'll check them out.

The appeal of an all in one is that we would always be unable to find the other half.

...of a two piece.

(sorry if that didn't make sense)

Wees easier in a two-piece ...

CurtainTwitcher · 19/01/2010 19:33

TK Maxx and sizings are quite generous, I got a 18-24mth one for dd1 who was 2 and she wore it until she was 3.5yrs and it has now gone to dd2 who is 3 and fits her lovely. DS also had an age 5 one which dd1 will wear

redrobin · 19/01/2010 19:36

i'll second Togz - cosy, fleecelined waterproof all-in-ones - i got ours from littletrekkers.com.

nevergoogledragonbutter · 19/01/2010 19:39

how padded are the togz suits? good for falling over in the snow?

Not all in ones but our 2 have been snug as bugs recently and on skiing holidays in the kids Columbia two piece ski suits

mowcop · 19/01/2010 19:41

They have some nice 2 piece sets in the Trespass sale.

Wallace · 19/01/2010 19:43

Can't go wrong with Trespass stuff

Wallace · 19/01/2010 19:48

Good cross post

I have ordered loads of snow stuff for my 2 from littletrekkers.
For DD1 I bought this - it arrived after the last lot had melted here but we are forecast some more....looks great, really warm and fleecy inside with extra liner bits at ankles to keep lining dry from boots/deep snow. She is nearly 5 and I bought age 5-6 and it's pretty generous, would think it would last her for next year.
Someone gave me a secondhand salopette thing for dd2 which was handy but the poor thing can barely walk in it it's such a duvet so although I was originally looking for a padded dungaree thing for dd1 I got the waterproof fleece lined dungarees instead for ease of movement.
The other thing I got for them both (little trekkers again) was cheapish snowboots - an absolute godsend. They are now happy to stay out/walk miles in snow/ice without whinging.
I bought myself some and I have to say it's a totally different ball game once your feet are warm and dry !

nevergoogledragonbutter · 19/01/2010 19:59

trespass suit here
warm enough?

Certainly should be

Matalan has some kids ski stuff. They have Men's Trespass so might have kids too. It is online.
