Does anyone use La Redoute to buy clothing for themselves?
I have just looked online and have some some lovely sweater dresses and boots, but am not sure what size to order. Do the sizes come up big/small?

They are designed for french women, so come up short and slender

I'm a fan. I ordered loads before Christmas & sent c. half back because it didn't look great quality but I love the stuff I've kept. I think their Soft Grey range comes up a little large but not massively. My tip would be to read the item description well instead of (like me) going by the photos. What you thinking of getting?

I hae some stuff from them, size and quality varies imo. Some stuff is lovely, and it's v good for new fashion basics.

I agree that Sort Grey can be a bit larger, other stuff (essentials I think?) on the small/short in the arm/leg side. Free returns though- you can't go wrong!

I've ordered from La Redoute for years now. Quality can vary and their sizing has been a bone of contention for me. I once ordered identical jeans, same size but in two different colours and there was fully an inch and a half different in the waistband size. That aside I do like their stuff but as someone has said, they are designed for skinny french women. Always order two sizes if it's something fitted - returns are free. And consider ordering trousers/skirts a size up from your normal size.
