I need a new jacket for spring ...

Something to wear mainly with jeans. Don't want anything too cropped/blazer-ish and I do want something which will provide a bit of warmth - although obviously not a winter coat. Have had a quick glance at Boden (nothing) and White Stuff (don't seem to have new stock yet). Any suggestions please?

Just today I bought a cropped wool jacket in dark grey from H+M. It is a lovely colour with a few flowers embroidered on one side of the chest and one sleeve. Cost £20. Not as name-dropping-worthy as Boden (say) but it looks good on jeans as well as skirts. I think I'll be wearing it most days in spring

The M&S jacket isn't really me - sorry Southeastastra. Urban Outfitters link didn't work but had a look at their jackets and dont' see anything. Guess the trouble is that I don't really know what I want but I'll know it when I see if IYKWIM
