Hi all...I'm a bit new to internet shopping and am looking for some help! I ordered an item from France, which is too big, and need to return it. Do I just take it to the post office and pay for the return myself? It was sent via TNT - should I phone them intead?

I'm completely at a loss!!! Please help, wise shopping-ladies!

There should be something on the website you bought it from about returns. Generally, you take it to the post office and pay yourself - make sure you get proof of posting in case of mishap!

Thanks so much! I was hoping there was some way of not paying, but looks like there isn't .

If it is simply too big, and not damaged on delivery for instance, then you usually pay the cost of return since it's your error. I have received and returned 2 bookcases from a children's company based in France because of dents/chips/parts missing but obviously that was their error and they sent the courier to collect.

Couriers can be cheaper than the PO - could contact TNT and get a quote for size, weight and destination of parcel.
