or are they both naff?

one

two

OP posts:
TitchyWitch · 17/01/2010 21:38

I prefer the first one, and not naff, classic.

knicknack · 17/01/2010 21:41

definately the first one the second looks quite boring and i prefer the shade of blue in the first one too

Cobblers · 17/01/2010 21:41

Ditto. First one's classic, simple and nice and long so won't show your trollies when/if you bend over.

dexter73 · 17/01/2010 21:41

No. 1

LetThemEatCake · 17/01/2010 21:41

definitely the first, the second is too fussy.

quite fancy the first for myself actually!

TimothyTigerTuppennyTail · 17/01/2010 21:42

No.1

PoppityPing · 17/01/2010 21:42

1st, without a doubt

TheBolter · 17/01/2010 21:45

First one, deffo.

GettingThingsSorted · 17/01/2010 21:47

Number 1!

FrameyMcFrame · 17/01/2010 21:53

ok good that's what I thought, was swayed a bit by the silly bows on the second one.
thanks

While I'm here what do you think of this and would you ever wear it?

with thick tights?

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 17/01/2010 21:55

I'd wear it with flat metallic sandals and tanned legs.

If I were 22 years old and weighed 9 stone.

Neither of which is the case

Viscose and thick tights = no.

Cobblers · 17/01/2010 21:57

Not for me but then I am a size 14 and don't stray far from the jeans and a nice top route.

Why is it called a 'playsuit'?

FrameyMcFrame · 18/01/2010 10:28

God knows Cobblers!

I am a size 14 as well. but have delusions of being thinner than I am

LTEC, I am 35 and weigh 11 stone so I think I will take it out of my basket and look for something more apropriate.

thanks

RonNumber · 18/01/2010 10:29

god i love that black thing
would wear with nekkid ( slightly oiled) legs, big valley of the dolls hair and nude lips

RonNumber · 18/01/2010 10:30

..she types sitting in nike track pants, ancinet trainers and a hoddy..

midnightexpress · 18/01/2010 10:38

When you say hoddy, Ron...

FrameyMcFrame · 18/01/2010 11:01

oh bollox I think I'm going to get it anyway, I love it, even though I will probably look as mutton dressed as lamb etc.

Can always send it back if I come to my senses it doesn't fit.

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 18/01/2010 11:04

Let us know how it looks, it is gorgeous. You can wear anything with a bit of sass and confidence!

bonnyb1 · 18/01/2010 11:05

I love the black thing, nice for hols with gold sandals and bangles.........I am old too but would wear if a bit slimmer.

traceybath · 18/01/2010 11:13

I love the playsuit too and am loving Ron's styling .

I keep looking at them and denim mini skirts and then giving myself a stern talking to.

I am too old at 37 . . . Not quite sure how I'd bf in a playsuit too - that could be fun at toddlers though

LTEC and Ron - have either of you seen any white skinny 7/8 jeans on your travels?

LetThemEatCake · 18/01/2010 11:43

another blue stripe top what do you think, was pondering ...

T - have not seen any white jeans yet ... eyes open

re: too old at 37 - can you come over to the judicious thread pls, need to ask you something

FrameyMcFrame · 18/01/2010 12:00

I prefer that one actually and it has the longer sleves which I like but I don't know if the scoop neck is too low for me.

I'm trying to buy things with higher necklines now as I think low ones age me.

OP posts:
traceybath · 18/01/2010 12:02

Yeap I prefer the asos one too. I love a breton top.

I don't think its too low at all and I don't do plunging necklines but can't do crew necks either as boobs too big.

Hmm I love stripes in theory but having seen the holiday snaps of me wearing a similar top last summer, I can tell you that they add pounds (and I am small norked, size 12). Am only going to wear that top again under a cardi or jacket!
