it may be greatly reduced, it may be in one of my favourite colours

but almost 50% acrylic and featuring 'deliberate' flaws??

WTF??? not even for £70 ... and certainly not for £225

The only thing that's good about that jumper is the colour. Gorgeous colour. But the laddering? Horrible. Ditto that deliberate seams inside out thing that was popular a few years ago.

tulpe · 16/01/2010 23:18

colour is stunning. Tis very Taylor Momsen/Gossip Girl chic but ffs......£225 . If somebody said it was £25 in Top Shop I would believe them.

displayuntilbestbefore · 16/01/2010 23:20

Was probably only £225 for the month before the sale so people would think it was some massive bargain.
Hideous.

LaurieFairyCake · 16/01/2010 23:20

oh I quite like it

if they had an extra large I might have considered it....

ShutUpandDrinkYourGin · 16/01/2010 23:21

it looks awful on the model

LetThemEatCake · 16/01/2010 23:26

agree the colour is gorgeous, as is the shape. It's just the detail and the price that I object to!!

tulpe thought of you today, found the most beautiful dark brown silk tea dress with gorgeous beading detail in a charity shop - was lovely.

So, LTEC, what is the best area of London for charity shops? (just being nosy !!)

AngelinaJolly · 17/01/2010 08:22

10 years ago, even 5, I'd have worn that (at the lower price). With panache. Now I feel old. Sniff, thanks LTEC! In fact I feel old just typing "panache"! Surely the yoof of today don't do panache- they just rock a lock.

In fact 10 years ago I'd have considered it too long/ too forgiving a shape- now perfect shape & colour.

AngelinaJolly · 17/01/2010 08:22

look not lock

LetThemEatCake · 17/01/2010 09:02

Deconstruction!! That's the word I was looking for.

What would you have worn it with AJ?

purepurple · 17/01/2010 09:09

I like it.
It's not worth the money though.

TrinityIsFuckingTrying · 17/01/2010 09:13

holy crap
if I wore that I would look like I had lost my trolley and my tinfoil cap

kdk · 17/01/2010 10:17

Love the fact that it 'simply pulls on' - for those of use who were struggling with how to get dressed.

AngelinaJolly · 17/01/2010 15:21

Hmmm, I'd have probably worn it with low slung "dirty dye" denim loon pants flares and one-stars or F-me heels. Back in the day...
