wedding outfit - clueless

My brother is getting married in a few weeks time and I haven't a clue what to wear.

It's a February wedding in an old church, followed by a restaurant reception and then an evening do. It's 2nd time around for them both, so despite the church, it doesn't need to be too traditional.

I'm 5'11, size 12ish, dark, best feature are my legs, tummy never recovered from the babies and I hate the tops of my arms.

Budget is tight, and it would be good if I could wear whatever it is again at some point... or wear bits of it.

Please suggest some things. I seem to have lost my shopping mojo

the asos sale has loads and loads of dresses- so cheap you probably wouldn't mind not wearing it again / often.

here

Wow, you are some sort of model with your height and figure non?
What about seprates that you can mix in with the rest of your w/robe at a later date? Whats your style, who in the public eye do you think looks good?
I think Kate Hudson always looks good, so tend to copy her style, IYSWIM.

hmmm... yes, would have had lucrative modelling career had it not been for my face .

Not sure about people in public eye since I gave up my 'Heat' addiction but will cruise around online and see what's what. ASOS is definitely worth a look!

I really like the Oasis one. What do I wear with it to keep warm, and what do I put on my feet?

I think a bright blue pashmina to match the leaf print and black patent or satin shoes and bag:

Or if it's really cold maybe a black blazer or coat with a blue corsage

really helpful, thank you so much. Those shoes are gorgeous, although I think I'll need to find something similar with a much lower heel

I am dressing for 2 weddings, and have a similar figure to yours.

At 6 ft1 (talking about freakishly tall!)and size 12-14, good legs but don´t like top of my arms.

I bought a good dress at Phase Eight in the sale (around 60, down from 140)in a size 12 and will wear it with a little cashmere cardi to keep warm (and hide arms). A lot of their dresses are a bit stretchy yet smart looking (mine is black and purple and lilac). Bought a matching handbag for 12 pounds (down from 40).

Go go go to the sales! They have 70 percent off of loads of dresses.
