What has happened to Hula jeans?!

Thanks to MN, last year I finally found a pair of comfortable, very affordable and well-fitting jeans - the New Look Hula.

I tore a hole in the knee (they were worn every day for a year or more, so for a £10 pair of jeans, they did really well) and this got bigger and bigger until I decided to splash out on a new pair.

But horror! New Look don't do them any more and there so-called classic bootcut jeans look a bit frumpy on me. The 12 is tad too big - thus giving me that saggy bit round the front and not really clinging to my leg enough round the lower thigh - but I have no hope of getting the 10 done up round my mummy tummy.

Help me - I am going shopping on Sunday but I need ideas for a decent, everyday, slim-fitting but bootcut jean.

Hula jeans are now Yes Yes Yes jeans which profess to be but aren't the same.

Yes Yes jeans (the so called replacement) are utter shite. Crap fabric, crap fit, crap everything really. Cost cutting toe-rags (New Look I mean). The Hulas were actually v good. I only own two pais of jeans - a pair os 7 for all mankind and a pair of hula, and the latter were really great for everyday wear, and a total, real bargain. I'm v sad they're no longer available.

But can anyone suggest a brand that might come close?

I wondered where all those Hula Jeans had come from! They were flooding ALL the charity shops here in my area of Brum late last year and they were new too. I got myself 4 pairs from various places. They are good.

Is there a chance you could get some Hula on ebay still?

yes jeans are shit , i got a pair -didnt fit well and zip burst second time i wore them ( was correct size btw). hula jeans i could wear a size smaller and fitted perfect. - luckly i bought 2 pairs.(of hula)

Got some on ebay - never thought I'd buy something from new look on ebay but there you go! Fingers crossed!
