New from Mulberry www.mulberry.com/#/storefront/c5698/4361/category/. I'm lusting after it. It doesn't matter that I can't afford it and nor have I seen it in RL, I'm drooling!! What do you think? Will it be a stayer, a good investment and is it a spring/summer/winter bag? Humour me - and ignore the price tag!!!

Oh bloody hell Millie. You obviously want this bag. A lot. Can you use birthday money, xmas money, ebay some stuff and offer dp/dh some oral, lol. You know you want to.....

Millie1 · 13/01/2010 22:24

LOL! I do ... I'm thinking about it. But ... I'd like to see it in real life. Looking at the other views tab of the yellow & purple, it looks pretty big. Also, on other views tab of the blueberry (sorry, not purple!!) bag, there's a pic of it over the back of a chair alongside another bag in the same colour ... I can't for the life of me identify the other bag - here www.mulberry.com/#/storefront/c5483/4632/moreviews/

Okay, I promise, I shall stop obsessing!

Got it, the Clipper www.mulberry.com/#/storefront/c5687/4363/morestyles/

I'm closing my Mulberry tab now!

Not sure what other bag is either. Maybe it is something that is yet to be released? You could order one from Mulberry on your credit card and return if does not suit you? Probably better though to call round stores and find somewhere local with it in so you can go and try it on/compare. It looks gorgeous.

I am pretty sure I will be getting that Drew mini. I am thinking about it a lot. I love the Blueberry but oak is probably the more wise choice as will go wth everything. It sold out in that colour yesterday though! It will be back again soon though hopefully....

TheChristmasHour · 13/01/2010 22:36

AAAhhh. Well deduced. See, you deserve that bag!

Millie1 · 13/01/2010 22:42

Go for it ChristmasHour ... it's absolutely lovely and a good investment .

We are just enabling each other now! Our dp/dh's will be banning us from online chatting soon, lol. I will be hitting 'buy' I think as soon as oak is back in stock. I have registered to be notified when it is available again. Dp raised his eyebrows (angrily, I think) when I informed him of this. He does not understand or care for fashion ...Still if i wear it most days then cost per wear will be very reasonable after say, a year!

joliejolie · 14/01/2010 11:34

I would love to have your Baywater LTEC. I have oak and would like a bit of chocolate.
Do you really not like it?

LetThemEatCake · 15/01/2010 10:16

hi joliejolie - not so much that I don't like it ... it's lovely but just not useful enough for me. I don't know whether you read my other thread, but I haven't used it in over a year and hate things languishing in my wardrobe. Also can't see myself using in next few years due to 3 small dcs (not big enough), moving to Australia (won't go with my summery, casual lifestyle) and working as a freelancer (read - slob)

Are you interested? really? have not put it on ebay yet

Millie1 · 16/01/2010 21:39

re the Drew ... it's not in the stores yet. But the Alexa in blueberry is gorgeous and the Beatrice tote looks lovely too.

OP posts:
MrsMotMot · 16/01/2010 22:40

I personally prefer the Alexa- but the namesake iritates the hell out of me! Which is, of course, the only reason I wouldn't buy it. Nothing to do with money at all! Mulberry bags are lovely...

Millie1 · 17/01/2010 14:18

LOL ... agree with you re the namesake bit!!

OP posts:
AngelinaJolly · 17/01/2010 15:16

Yes I started rant thread about the namesake recently. I'm sure there are more worthy recipients of the title of Fashion Icon... shame as it's a nice bag.

MrsMotMot · 18/01/2010 20:16

I know- fashion icon?! I just dearly wish she would put her legs away. Tis a very nice bag.

muvril · 11/09/2011 18:21

Sprucing up old Paul Smith swirl bag.

The leather on my much loved and heavily used swirl bag has become a bit worn and has lost its colour in places. I think the pattern is painted onto the leather rather than dyed. Does anyone know how I can spruce it up bit? Thanks!

coffeeinbed · 11/09/2011 21:02

The Bayswater tote..
Drooling and waiting for the next pay check..

scootergal · 11/09/2011 21:06

would love bayswater heritage one or one of the satchel one s (not alexa ... sigh!
I have to stop browsing style n beauty section you guys are dangerous!

chipstick10 · 11/09/2011 21:22

I am saving for the Taylor, i love it and want it sooooo bad.

MrsSchadenfreude · 11/09/2011 21:30

Nice bags, but I just couldn't justify spending that much money - that's about a month's mortgage payment - on one bag. Being nosey Out of interest, what proportion is that of your monthly family income?

Millie1 · 11/09/2011 21:37

Good heavens ... how did this thread come to see the light of day almost two years later? I had read the first dozen posts before I realised I had started it! Grin.

OP posts:
scootergal · 11/09/2011 21:52

I got the one i have from combining vouchers I got for my 30th birthday and Christmas presents and in the sale the store had a 25 % off .....
It was expensive yes but i love it and used it all the time for the last 2 years.
I wouldn't have gone out and 'bought' -- hard to justify the cost with 2 dc's and all the other expenses. Doesn't stop me hankering after and admiring the others in the range!
and you know I used that bag almost every day ......so it didn't languish in the wardrobe I felt it was definitely worth the investment for me.

bertiecat · 12/09/2011 11:04

Ahhh, thats why none of the links work Millie1 thought I was going mad!

bertiecat · 12/09/2011 11:05

muvril you'd be better posting your question on Purseforum rather than on year old threads... Grin

Lexi3 · 23/10/2011 15:51

I know this is really bad - but can anyone suggest a good "replica bag" site for Mulberrys, the finances are just not stretching to the real thing....?! :(
