Where to get, erm, SADDLE SOAP- in a city?

My lovely new boots (from Toast sale) come with a matt finnish and a recommendation to clean with saddle soap; Belvoir saddle soap is recommended.

I am not horsey, I live in a city, I ride a bike, not a horse.

Therefore, I don't know where to get this stuff. Even John Lewis let me down

Can any of you wise ladies help to locate some? Pref within the city...?

Camping/outdoorsy type shop like Blacks or Millets?

oops sorry - when you said city I jumped to the conclusion you meant London. Belvoir saddle soap is widely available at errr... saddlery shops. I would just Google saddlery and your county and see what comes up. Seems a shame to mail order when you'll pay a fortune in postage.

Fortyplus- Ah bless! there are a wee couple of cities outside the big smoke y'know! I did google and and I have found a place near my running shop that does saddles and the like.

Belvoir soap online here but the foam is less messy

You need to go to a Timpsons shoe repair shop or other shoe repairs. They almost always stock it. Or old fashioned hardware store. Do you have a Wilkinsons near you. Woolies would have had it! You can buy it in a spray or a tin like old fashioned shoe polish.

You could try a pet shop, a larger one might stock it.
