Adult UGG Boots

I would like to purchase some UGG boots as so many people have told me how warm they are and am sick of cold toes in this weather.

I've found some on the net which are £60. It looks like an official site and I even consulted their online helpdesk who confirmed they were genuine with certificate and dust bag etc (but they would wouldn't they?) I've since found out that unless they are over £100 they are probably not genuine. I'm not after the designer name, just want a product that lives up to its good reputation.

Anybody know a good place to buy some? Or do I just risk this site and hope for the best?! Thanks.

My classic Ugg boots were £170

Have you considered Emu? They are also sheepskin (they do a wool version too) with the built in foot bit - which it is bit that means you don't shiuffle rather than walk, like in cheap copies.

Hi Bellini - the site you are talking about is defo fake. If you check out Ebay's guide to UGG boots it tells you all you need to know. Bottom line - anything that is less than 10% below the RRP of an UGG boot is most defo a fake. Reference to a "dust bag" and certificate actually marks out a fake seller (real UGGs come with neither). If you want to buy real ones you need to pay basically full price (genuine retailers can't get enough real boots to supply demand so there is no way anyone is discounting them by 50%!!).
I bought mine from Topshop online. Shudoo is also considered good (and does have some discounts).

Don't risk that site - unless you want fakes (and in actual fact there are some very good fakes out there, it's just you wont know until you get them and better off with the real thing IMO).

Best of luck. I got the Ultra in Chocolate and they are fab!!

Thanks for your advice. It really made me think twice about what is genuine on the internet.

I've looked at Emu boots online and they look really nice (think I prefer that style). The only thing is they are lined with Merino Wool. I'm one of those people that hates jumpers with pure wool as find it itchy. Do you think this would be the same for your legs - is that different to what the UGGS are lined with?

Also, how do you find the UGG Ultra boot? I was veering towards that rather than the Classic as wanted something that was more robust and waterproof (mainly for school run etc). Don't want to be slopping around like a teenager!

Hi Bellini - I find the Ultra great - really comfy and so far withstanding snowcovered pavements and slush brilliantly. I find woolen jumpers itchy etc but not the inside of the UGG. Don't know if its different to the EMU though. They are supposed to be great too.

I have Ugg ultra in black short leg and I heart them in this snow!
They arent as warm though oddy, the sheepskin is kind of coarser (genuine though) than my classic short. I recommend the soles though on the ultra for winter use deffo.
