can i wear blue jeans with black top? if not and i purchase black jeans what colour boots do i then wear???

I have recently purchased some nice black tops to wear with jeans but all my jeans are dark blue so i am wondering if that is a no no?
If i bought black jeans all my boots are brown so again is that a no no?

I think it's fine. I wear black with dark denim. I probably wouldn't wear black with dark blue trousers but I go with that you can wear any colour with denim - whatever colour the denim. In fact I think it looks rather smart.

I think it's fine too - although I'm not sure I'd wear brown boots with jeans and a black top.

I'd probably go completely different and wear coloured shoes (got some nice dark grey, or dark red ones) with a black top and dark blue jeans.

Brown boots won't work with either combination I don't think.. lovely with dark jeans, but I don't tend to mix brown and black in that way.
