Does anyone have the Toast Cavalry Boots?

Here.

Am umming and aahing about buying them. I am fairly sturdy of calf and i want a pair of brown boots to wear primarily with skirts and dresses (mostly tunic, casual style).

The alternative is These babies which I bought from Dune today. However, they are quite snug and am fairly certain that my skinny jeans will not tuck in (I tried them on over leggings).

Opinions - based on fact or personal taste welcome

BTW, am not breaking my "not buying anything new" thread as these will be a gift and will enable me to make more use of what's in my wardrobe as old brown boots need replacing

BTW, Cavalry boots are currently out of stock but I can always watch, vulture like, to see if they come back in again

I've got them. They are more than I have ever spent on a pair of boots before, but they are very beautiful. Someone on another thread rang up Toast and was told that they're 40cm in diameter. Jeans definitely tuck in.

I haven't bought from Toast before, am surprised at how much I like those boots.

They look lovely.

Much prefer to Dune ones.

Ring them up Tulpe and check if any have been sent back

I think the Toast boots are beautiful and will last years (that's opinion not experience). I am not keen on the Dune ones.

Thanks all. Will give Toast a call in the morning and ask to be put on the waiting list for any returns

Agree, they are far nicer

I bought a black pair last year and just got the brown ones in the sale last week. they are so so lovely. now all i need is for the snow to go away so i can break them in!
if the website doesn't have any you could always try one of the shops if there are any near you.
