I'm drooling over the stripy scarf already.

LaurieFairyCake · 08/01/2010 12:53

clearly they're reading mumsnet as this is their "school-run" dress

LaurieFairyCake · 08/01/2010 13:11

oooh......I see they've brought out size 22

MrsSeanBean · 08/01/2010 13:35

at school run dress. It's not bad actually.

Cybils · 08/01/2010 13:37

But.. Its £69

Cybils · 08/01/2010 13:39

these are surprisingly UnBoden -like (I loathe Boden) but are too high

LaurieFairyCake · 08/01/2010 13:40

yep, added those lovely peep-toes to my wish list (in silver and red). Probably won't buy them as they are about one inch too high for me.

purplepeony · 08/01/2010 13:40

I almost ordered tha at 20% preview, but Mns assured me it was frumpsville.

50ftQueenie · 08/01/2010 13:43

Has anyone received an e-mail saying their preview order have been dispatched?

Cybils · 08/01/2010 13:43

Are you all zillionaires? The prices are extortionate

50ftQueenie · 08/01/2010 13:47

Ah, must have been dispatched as the money has come out of my already empty account!

TheChristmasHour · 08/01/2010 14:15

I placed a massive order (with preview discount)before Xmas then about 3 days ago, I came to my senses and cancelled it. I love Boden and bought loads last season, I thought so much of the stuff was very wearable, timeless and could be mixed well with trendier, funkier stuff from other shops.

I am just not impressed with this season though. It is mostly very frumpy and very disappointing. I realised that I had placed my order for the sake of it, not because anything actually excited me at all. There will be MUCH better available on the high street, you mark my words . In fact, Top Shop had a lot of great spring lines in last weekend.

Cabatach · 08/01/2010 14:50

I spoke to them this morning, to change my order, but told it was dispatched yesterday! Had no email though.

Cabatach · 08/01/2010 14:58

Also noticed that almost everything in a size 22 is low stock or has a waiting list. Do you think some individuals/stores are buying it to sell on to others...?

henryhuggins · 08/01/2010 15:04

girls colours are bit too sailor/american stars and stripes for me

LaurieFairyCake · 08/01/2010 15:04

anyone got a current Boden code that I can use for the new spring stuff?

OpheliaPain · 08/01/2010 15:09

in a moment of madness? in december I ordered the stones mac as I find it hard to get one that isnt doublre breasted..we will see

traceybath · 08/01/2010 16:06

I did that ophelia but cancelled it this week as got one in the sales.

kittya · 09/01/2010 09:18

They had masses of sale stuff only three days ago when it was reduced again but, it went in a day. I agree the Spring season is far too over priced and more middle aged, I dont even think my mother will be overly impressed.

it's all v mumsy frumpy again

purplepeony · 09/01/2010 11:00

Well I've ordered the cropped cash cardi, he St Ives cardi and a pair of satin sneakers.
will feedback when arrived.
Have scoured the dresses, skirts and trousers but cannot see anything that makes me want to buy- the embellished dress is okay but not at £95 thanks.

I am still thinking about the purple bag- anyone any take on that?

OP posts:
bellissima · 09/01/2010 11:05

Am continually seeing the advice on here that one should not wear jeans every day for the school run (guilty as charge) - and dresses a good solution etc. But, is it just me or is that 'school run dress' incredibly boring in the brown and blue and incredibly hideous in the prints (no wonder model sort of crouching down)??? Does anyone do decent 'ordinary' dresses? Or am I just not a dress or print person?

bellissima · 09/01/2010 11:06

charged

MadameCastafiore · 09/01/2010 11:09

AM going to hold off buying anything until after I have been to one of the town hall saes as I got loads for last summer.

They had loads of the boys stuff at the last one - all my son's friends have the stripey lined jacket that they picked up for £10!

May need the purple shoes with the peep toe and bow if I can find a bag to match as have a boden dress from last season (green and purple one) that they would look great with for a wedding!
