Is there value in upgrading a 12year old epilator?

Have they improved that much?

Do they wear out?

I have the money which I could either spend on a new epilator, but console games or fritter away on teh weekly shop.

I only want to get a new epilator if it is going to be an improvement on my old one.

I upgraded a year or so ago and I think I'd had my old one for about 15 years! They haven't changed that much but the new one is definitely a bit quieter and I think it has more plucky bits than the old one. They're often on offer in Boots or at supermarkets so I'd only get one if it was on a really good offer.

Thanks for that. I have an amazon voucher. I am trying to decide whether to spend it on a new epilator or fritter it on games or kids birthday presents...
