tarantula · 01/07/2005 16:41

expatinscotland · 01/07/2005 16:42

I don't do facial hair or body odour. Boak. DH doesn't use hair products, but deodorant and soap are cheap.

cupcakes · 01/07/2005 16:44

God my dh only shaves once a week (at best!) and often wears torn jeans. But then I think he is incredibly handsome with super bone structure and gets away with it!
And I fancy him like that - I love it when it's almost a beard but not quite.

ninah · 01/07/2005 16:44

so are deoderant and soap products, well OK no
Thought you mean gel, fancy aftershave etc
scruffy is fine, dirtly is eeeh

cupcakes · 01/07/2005 16:45

He is clean though and does use some kind of product in his hair.

expatinscotland · 01/07/2005 16:47

MMmm, I love aftershaves and cologne, lightly splashed. CKOne or Crave or Tommy for Him.

My dh has very little body hair, but still shaves every other day b/c he likes the clean cut look. So do I!

tarantula · 01/07/2005 16:48

dp is clean and uses soap and deoderant and stuff but def veers towards the scruffy looking .

tarantula · 01/07/2005 16:54

scruffy man for you all to oggle

cupcakes · 01/07/2005 16:56

I think one of the reasons my dh is quite scruffy is that he is self employed - other than for his customers (who seem to like him whatever he wears) he has no need to dress up.

cupcakes · 01/07/2005 17:00

this is my dh

lemonice · 01/07/2005 18:52

spidermama · 01/07/2005 18:54

Viggo Mortensen is my dream DH too Cupcake.

motherinferior · 01/07/2005 19:14

I have a friend who manages to look exactly like VM in LOTR yet lack the sexual charisma. It may be the hippy trousers that do it (and when I say hippy, I mean seriously hippy. Lovely LOVELY bloke, though.

spidermama · 01/07/2005 19:14

So sorry to have killed this great thread.

NomDePlume · 01/07/2005 19:15

NomDePlume · 01/07/2005 19:16

It's the 'ripped jeans' bit that bugs me, soooooooooooooooooo eighties

cupcakes · 01/07/2005 19:37

even if they're genuinely ripped through hard work? And have no fake faded patches

lemonice · 01/07/2005 20:15

Jeans start new and are worn through wear not bought in,
