Snowproof footwear/ boots

It's probably too late and apologies if this has been done to death but I am in need of some suitable footwear for the current weather conditions.

I invested in a pair of DMs last year but unfortunately, they have soaked through every time I've worn them. Very disappointing. Would polishing and spraying that smelly waterproof stuff over it work? Otherwise what do you wear in the snow on your feet to keep them warm and dry?

Appreciate any recommendations.

I have been wearing my Uggs in the snow and although they do get wet on the outside, my feet have remained dry and warm.

Can second the fantastic qualities of Uggs. Also check out Ellis Brigham. They do basic snow boots for about £30 which are very good quality. I have a pair which have served me well on ski trips. However, they haven't kept my feet anywhere near as toasty warm as my Uggs, even when worn with ski socks.

I used to rub vaseline into my old leather biker boots to waterproof them, did the trick. Am currently alternating between lands end snow boots and crocs wellies.
