I recently ordered a sample size of this - I'm quite disappointed although I think maybe I am not putting it on right. Can anyone give me any tips on how you are supposed to use it, I have put 3 stripes on my cheek and blended but don't think it looks as good as the power blusher.

I rub it into the apples of my cheeks but then use cream blusher on top. Also use it on my lips under gloss.

I usually have to apply twice, I put 3 dots and blend them, then do it again. It works quite well for me.

Yes to building up the colour gradually.

I really like it but think it requires some trial and error to get the right look.

Very good on lips too.

I know it's one of those products that always gets mentioned in 'Top Make Up Artists Reveal Their Must Have Products' type articles... but I've never got on with it myself.

Maybe it's because I'm so pale and wishy washy naturally that I need something stronger to show up, but no, not for me.

I only use it only my lips.

I love Benetint. My top tip would be to use more of it than people usually recommend - three drops won't get you very far (unless you're after a really subtle effect). Just make sure you blend it in thoroughly.

I love the fact that it doesn't rub off - if you put it on at 8am, it's still there at 8pm IME.

I think I will give up with it, tried it again today and it just looked like 3 blobs on my cheek even though I did blend. Think I'll go back to dandelion blusher.
