Help needed taming DD's hair!

My friend is desperatly looking for help!

Her dd is 18mths, and hates having her hair done. I am white with slightly wild hair, dd's dad is black african. Dd's hair is tight curls on top, bit more european on the back and sides .

So, any suggestions on hair taming and styles? Please

sorry, is this for your daughter or your friends?

Gah, she's fed me too much wine!

Tis my friends dd, she can't get into her email to join. Technically housemate, my dd
is her dd's partner in crime...

This has been recommended to me on here from an MNer with children with afro hair- she swears by it, and I keep meaning to get one as a curly-mop

Thanks BoF she got one and now is a total convert. Her dd no longer screams when having her hair done, and she's now 'doing' her dd's hair rather than leaving her to look like a scruffy teddy bear.
