Brown eyes, Brown hair, what colour eye make-up?

Hi,

I have Brown (as in Brown not hazel) eyes. Brown hair, and warm skin (but not olive).

As far as make-up goes I only ever wear a bit of eye shadow, clear mascara and a bit of lipstick/gloss.

I always wear eyeshadow in shades of brown. Are there any other colours I could get away with?

Apparently purple looks good with brown eyes. I am same colours as you, and not to keen on going with purple eyeshadow but I have a purply eyeliner that looks good.

I have dark brown eyes and hair (well, hair is actually grey but let's not dwell on that) and I use black eye make-up.

i have this greeny gold from max factor. looks nice with my dark brown eyes. purple doesn't do much for me it seems to disappear. also almay do eyeshadows for your eye colour and i have the pink/taupe/whiteish shades which look great too

Well DTDs got a whole pallet of colours for Christmas and I have just put on some of there dusky/smoky mauve and it looks hideous.....back to browns.

I was thinking about buying some "liquid" eye shadows like those Max factor ones. Which shade have you got? The pearl beige or golden green. I am thinking that I might look at pearl beige and coffee....but that is still brown....

the golden green is really nice - noticeable

sounds vile but some pinks can look nice. You need to try a few though to make sure you choose a shade that doesn't look like you've got myxomatosis . For me (I have same colouring but skin is light olive) - I have a quite 'candy' pink that looks good.

Greys, golds and pinks look nice on me and I'm the same colouring.

I posted the same question a few months ago - with little reponse - but have have since been trying out a few colours (other than brown)

I'm mostly liking gold atm as well as silvery grey - am also trying out violets but feel its a bit out there for me!
