Pandora Bracelet

Hubby is keen to buy me one for Mothers day.. I love them (been slightly put off by mother and sister)
want other peoples opinions cheers!!!

I like them. I got one for Christmas from dh. I only have 3 beads at the mo but am looking forward to building it. I love the idea that family will now buy me beads for b'day etc from now on. Better than random stuff that does not fit etc!

I meant dp, not dh! We are getting married this year though!!

I don't like, why do you care what other people like though?

I recently got one for my birthday, I really like it. I haven't stuck to pandora beads, have bought other beads that are not as expensive.

I have a friend with one and it's lovely.

Oh, go for it! They're not particularly to my taste, though dd's godmother got her a child's one and I thought it was a very, very sweet gesture. My SIL has also got one and I have bought her beads to mark the births of each of her children. It's a really nice tradition to start, and you like them, so don't let anyone put you off.

We got DD one for Christmas but I know what you mean, they are a bit Radley bag. They have some nice leather thong necklaces that are not as ubiquitous.

I've got a tiffany silver charm bracelet. Same principle but not quite as popular.

I have got a pandoras and I love getting charms for it - go for it. you can also check out Troll beads.

i got a trollbead one for xmas. i love it.

I got a love links one last year from dh he choose this one as there are more unique beads for it.

I've had a trollbead bracelet for about 4 years and I've collected a few loads of beads.

I wear it all the time because once you have a few lots of beads you can keep swapping them around

Also, it means people always have a failsafe item to buy you for Christmas/Birthdays

I was given a Pandora bracelet by my PIL for my 40th and love it. They got me two more charms for Christmas.

It is the one bracelet I never take off.

I have one and like it BUT was very put off it when I saw Big Mo on Eastenders wearing one!

lol @ dierdre and Big Mo - that is exactly my problem with them: everywhere.

I got one a few months ago and love it!! I got quite a few beads recently as my birthday is the week before christmas so got some as gifts. Strangely I only know one other person who has one and she's gone for more of the coloured glass beads where as I have more silver so they look completely different. I've had it on every day since I got it.

I love the fact that people now have something they can get me for christmas/birthday.

I think the lovelinks beads fit on the pandora and some of the trollbeads ones do too. My favourite is a trollbeads bead which represents 3 siblings - I got it from my 3 ds for my birthday

Rozzy: I was told the lovelinks don't fit on Pandora, if you find they do will you let me know. I have Chamilla, Pandora & truth beads on mine. Will have a look at the trollbeads - I look the sound of the bead which represents your siblings

Sandy - I don't have any lovelinks but have definitely read online that they fit - there's a bit about it on the website inspiredjewelleryonline.co.uk.

Not all trollbeads fit on pandore but if you look on mememeaccessories.com and go onto trollbeads, to fit other bracelets, you'll see which ones do.

I think they are very pretty, but every time I see one I can't stop myself remembering how expensive the beads are, and thinking that the companies concerned are having a laugh.

I prefer lovelinks to be honest. Think they are prettier also love my sweetie bracelet.
