How long does the strap go on the Phoenix? I love the purple one, but I am small, and I think I'd need a longer strap.

Now. AJ. what colour phoenix? I am still torn between phoenix and wigmore, both plum. Maybe wigmore too similar in shape to Oakley? Maybe only like Phoenix bc it's dd's name?? How should I know??

Oooh - think I prefer the Wigmore in choc or ash. Look a bit more 'sloppy', maybe go better for the casual look.

I have gone for plum- I'm not cool enough for ash, pink is tooooo pink; I would like a grown up black bag but this one isn't about lady-chic IYSWIM.
Wigmore- I'm not sold on the vintage leather and I like big, deep bags. Phoenix is a great name- and you already have that association... buy both: post over £50 is free.

o.k...got my wigmore in brown I know it's a boring colour but I needed one like that. It's not quite as amazing as I thought it would be but it's o.k. Wishing I'd gone for the plum

They are nice because they squishy and soft and decent leather and not everyone has got one the same and they have pretty lining! Not sure if that is enough reasons....

This is nice, (and a bargain!) A bit like an external purse, which would save endless fumbling in actual totally impractical carry by hand bag.

My Phoenix is here- and I LOVE IT!
it's the right mix of structured and slouchy, colour is better than on website, soft substantial leather (and not at all "Radley"!)

hellsbelles if you are not overwhelmed by the Wigmore, how about this at nearly half the price. My lovely dh bought it for me in purple and I am really pleased with it. It is lovely leather, very large and squishy. I also have the Oakley { thanks to LTEC and her links }and whilst I like that, I prefer the one at TK Maxx more.

pondering the wise words from Angelinajolly and wondering whether to swap my wigmore for the phoenix. Decisions decisions. I do need a casual dark brown bag thingy (for which the wigmore fits the bill) but I wonder if there is something slightly more delicious out there. however I do have a feeling the wigmore will look slightly less 'faux' vintage after I have abused used it for a week or so.

Thanks for that link winetime - it does look really lovely and a nicer brown than the one I have. Very confused now!
