I've been too ill to go sale shopping. Is there anything left worth having?

I've so far only got a few bits and pieces online from The White Company but have no idea what the High Street is like bargain wise.

What's it all looking like atm where you are?

May venture out later today as have a babysitter. Probably not a good time to go shopping though as I look half dead and it will all look dire!

There is rarely anything in the sales worth having. Thats why its still there at sales time

Depends on your size. I'm a ten so nothing worth having. Size 14 or 16 seems to do much better.

why not check online?

The online sales I'm interested in haven't yet started.

I was thinking more along the lines of M&S etc.

Might be worth a look as people will have taken stuff back.

Maybe it's because 80s style is back in fashion but when I was out earlier it truly looked like lots if shops had dragged stuff out if storage that had been there fir 30 years (and not in a good way I might add...)

yesterday we bagged some bargains in Pumpkin Patch actually (eg new coat for DS2 was £8 from £22) and there was quite a bit of choice.
I like PP but it's dear normally (IMO).

I went today and bought virtually nothing. The best sale was Jones the Bootmakers (where I bought some lovely warm slippers).

Boots had loads of stuff in the sale but I didn't buy anything. M&S was rubbish.

I wanted some Philosophy perfume from Selfrdges but they had no sale on that at all.

French Connection looked good but I was tired, so didn't bother.

Had a look today and anything worth having is not in sale. M and S particularly dire with only a tiny amount of sale stuff. Boots got all usual 1/2 price gift sets - but not particularly inspiring..Anything I have bought I have done online.
