Black jeggings? (not Oasis, too expensive)

I saw some black jeggings I really like in Oasis but am not willing to spend £35 on them. I would maybe spend £20. Has anyone seen them?

Went shopping yesterday and didn't see any in the sales (though I did buy another pair of the Oasis ones I am in love with )

I do seem to recall that Primark had some a month or two ago before my jegging obsession began. Marks and Spencer have these for less than £20 and might be worth searching on www.asos.com too. These look nice - I like Vila.

What in frick's name are jeggings?

DoesntTheTurkeyDragOn · 30/12/2009 08:07

These ones from Next are the ones i think are recommended on MN

monkeysmama · 30/12/2009 08:14

Sorry but I think Next's jeggings are bad. It may be my body shape but I found them very unflattering.

akhems · 30/12/2009 08:16

I got some in Primark the other day for £8 and the quality seems ok but I've not washed them yet (primark novice here)

DoesntTheTurkeyDragOn · 30/12/2009 08:17

No, jeggings are unflattering full stop

monkeysmama · 30/12/2009 08:20

Ha ha. Not my Oasis ones. I do think they're tricky though. I'm 5"7 with a short torso and long legs and they look flattering.

SheikYerbouti · 30/12/2009 08:22

Oh, I see what they are.

as a 5ft dumpling with legs like chipolatas, I doubt they would do owt for I

as you were

SixtyFootDoll · 30/12/2009 08:22

I got some in Asda for £12 they fit really nicely.

DoesntTheTurkeyDragOn · 30/12/2009 08:24

I think they only look good if teamed with a long top and boots. Unless you are a teeny tiny teen.

I do have a Next pair and they're fine worn with boots/long top as described above. Mainly because I have long slim legs but a fat arse generous bottom.

tkband3 · 30/12/2009 08:28

I got some in Dorothy Perkins and they're dreadful - they look ok, but they're constantly falling down and are v. uncomfortable. They weren't that cheap either - £22! Although I'm tall-ish - 5'8, I'm somewhat generous round the bottom area too, and I'd only wear them with a long top and boots .

monkeysmama · 30/12/2009 08:31

I only wear them with long top & boots too! Who doesn't? Though I will be wearing a dark black pair with studded shoeboots tomorrow.

HohohoBumperlicious · 30/12/2009 11:00

I got some in the Warehouse sale for £20. Only worn them once, they seem ok, a bit of hoiking required but then they are a size bigger than I would normally get and while I am amply of thigh, I have a smallish waist so I would probably hoik anything up.
