Awh thanks sweetie.

You know its a shit state of affairs when random internet lurvley lady remembers my birthday, but 3 aunts, a grandma and about half a dozen RL friends do not.

Got ÃŽx400$" REL="nofollow" >this purse but in bright pink and orange, a huge make up box, you know the silver artist type ones?, A new nokia phone, benefit make-up and bobbi brown skin care.

Had a lovely day with hubby and ds shopping and lunch in Glasgow.

Thanks for the message - was really kind of you.

geordieminx · 29/12/2009 21:17

Oh and itunes.

CHOOGIRL · 29/12/2009 21:49

No problem. I love birthdays. It baffles me when people forget them - they are on the same day every year!!

Glad you got your make up box. I don't really wear make up, but use a B&Q toolbox to keep all my bits together.

Aww Geordie - happy birthday! You don't have your b'day on FB or I'd have said it sooner!

LetThemEatCake · 29/12/2009 22:02

ok Choo, let me refresh my memory ... September1st? 2nd?

got a birthday book, complete with fortune-telling thingy for each day, for my birthday last week and am busily writing them all down!!

geordieminx · 29/12/2009 22:04

Thanks ME.

I know Choogirl. I know that today is the first non-bank holiday since xmas, but I wish people would get their arse's into gear and pop a card in BEFORE xmas.

Still tis not the end of the world.

CHOOGIRL · 29/12/2009 22:24

I'm impressed LTEC. I am on 2nd - every year!!

Ooo you must have been the oldest in your year at school.

LetThemEatCake · 29/12/2009 23:54

Choo: Always the life of the party, you are witty, bright, friendly, a good conversationalist and well-liked. You have friends in several distinct circles and can adapt yourself to each one. You radiate vitality and are domestic and loyal, and you love with sincerity and strength.

Geordie: You are resourceful, original and courageous, and you are competent in handling details and have considerable executive ability. You love good literature, music and art, and you are an interesting and amusing entertainer. Your love is strong and constant.

Marks out of ten for accuracy?

Geordie: You are resourceful, original and courageous, and you are competent in handling details and have considerable executive ability. - Project Manager in previous life so yup.

You love good literature, music and art - not so sure chick lit counts but love music, would be lost without Ipod, and have spent all night messing on with itunes.

interesting and amusing entertainer. - yup, especially after a couple of vodka's always centre of attenttion, thats me.

Your love is strong and constant -Apart from the affair I had with dh, when I was engaged to someone else

Pretty accurate LTEC - You should do MN tarrot.

CHOOGIRL · 30/12/2009 11:25

10 for me too.
Always the life of the party, you are witty, bright, friendly, a good conversationalist and well-liked. Yep - work in PR and Communications. Used to run corporate hospitality events and get paid to go to parties - how good is that?

You have friends in several distinct circles and can adapt yourself to each one. Yes although find it easier to adapt to one particular friend who invited me to a party on a massive yacht in Monaco!

You radiate vitality - thanks to Beauty Flash Balm and 8 glasses of water per day

are domestic and loyal, and you love with sincerity and strength. I have known my closest friends on average 15 years.

Happy Birthday December Ladies!

LTEC- did you have your champagne and cake as planned?

I got surprised by friends t'other night after I'd booked a restaurant for our Christmas do only to find they'd rung the place and got the staff to cover our table with Happy Birthday balloons.

LetThemEatCake · 30/12/2009 19:48

That sounds gorgeous AJ, hope you had a lovely day and that your card was as big and glittery as expected!! Will post your fortune later.

Had a lovely day... Lunch with dh and the children at Jamie's Italian at Canary Wharf then friends over for the planned champers and cake, lots of merriment had. Made the light chocolate cake from Red Velvet & Chocolate Heartache.. I don't do wheat and all the recipes are based on rice flour/ ground almonds, with butter largely replaced by vegetables to cut fat content. Too delicious to be considered virtuous, and always fun to tell people what they're eating when they're going mmmmmm, yum....

Are you all set for your soirée tomorrow night?

AngelinaJolly · 30/12/2009 20:02

That cake sounds truly delish...
And how was Jamie's Italian- I think he's opening one up here soon?

Yes, DH was sent on a mission to procure fireworks for our NYE party. We now have a huge firework cake, amongst other bits, that I'm worried will leave a dustbin sized crater in the lawn as it fires off. I'm sure DH all the kids will love it though. And there'll be enough mulled wine to make whatever happens funny...

LetThemEatCake · 30/12/2009 21:30

fabulous book, beautifully styled - get it and wear that gorgeous apron to bake up a storm!

restaurant good, very child-friendly (except for no booking policy- argh!!) and not pricey. Food choices a bit limited for someone with borderline eating disorder food issues like me, but would deffo recommend.
