GHD Salon Styler - wide plate. Any good?

I was wondering if anyone has the wide plate GHD straighteners. I've got shoulder length hair and use narrow straighteners atm which takes ages. I'm wondering if I'd be better off with wider plates. Do you have any recommendations for website to order from too?

My dd has the wide ones and they are very good at straightening long hair.

The narrow ones do a good job (not GHD's tho'). However, I really fancy the wide ones. Will get on the internet and see what I can find.

Brilliant, had mine for 5 years now and only need to use them once a week.
I have very long thick bushy wavy hair and with my GHD's I have straight and shiny locks!
