exchanges with no receipt?

Have been given a purse for Xmas which is just too blech for words (thanks MiL...) Tag is attached and I wondered if I might be able to take it in and get a credit note or whatever ... would not buy shoe for myself from there but am sure I could get summer shoes for one of the dcs...

Don't really want to do the mission to my nearest store etc if it;s a definite no, so thought I'd check and see if any of you wise MNers had any experience with Clarks?

Have exchanged mil's presents things there in the past, explain it was a gift and you received it from your great aunty Ida through the post, and you wonder if they'd mind... they were great in our patch.

You'd only get the latest selling price probably, not what she paid (if its gone down in the sale)

thisisyesterday · 27/12/2009 23:10

yes you can exchange or get a credit note, but you'll only get the last selling price, so if it's gone down since she bouight it that's all you'll get

LetThemEatCake · 27/12/2009 23:19

thanks loads .. will suss it out ... it appears to still be full price so probably worth it ... might not bother for a fiver

her family obviously are

Cybilshoeboots · 27/12/2009 23:29

ok, I'll let you off . I had vague recollections of you asking what we thought of a Mulberry purse a while back. I may have got my ladies confused

LetThemEatCake · 27/12/2009 23:32

nah. not me. Definitely mistaken identity.

I got the birds zip long purse from ds1. Cute huh?

dd said that it's "mummy and daddy" (the birds) and that the hearts are the 3 dcs.
You don't get that kind of gorgeousness from Mulberry.
