H&M deffo for cheapo but vaguely stylish maternity fashion. And ASOS all the way...they always have offers on in the maternity 'Outlet' bit.

I stupidly bought loads of maternity stuff, but am still wearing mainly my regular clothes at 31 weeks, as it's mostly long tunics and leggings, which are luckily in fashion. Will have to lash it all on Ebay after baby arrives - def only having one!

Look at JoJoMamanbebe salehere

humptynumpty · 27/12/2009 22:24

excuse my ignorance, but what is ASOS?

thisisyesterday · 27/12/2009 22:31

gap had some nice stuff in the sale.

what size are you? i was going to bung some stuff on ebay if you're interested in second hand?
(understand if you want to splash out on some new stuff though )

and congrats!

Get the classic M&S black wraparound dress... it goes with everything and if it's chilly it looks not too shabby over jeans.

notnowbernard · 28/12/2009 15:31

Thanks for the ideas

Look on Ebay for Isabella Oliver stuff. The black wrap dress will see you through any functions / parties etc and the wrap tops are really handy for disguising the early bump and showing it off when it gets enormous. There's always IO stuff on Ebay...just keep an eye out. sadly I just got rid of all of mine , or I would have struck a deal with you .

humptynumpty · 28/12/2009 21:53

bloody hell, never heard of asos, had a look. I didn't even know what half of those things mean. Shapewear in the style of nicole ritchie?? WTF???
Anyway, looks quite good, but already got my mothercare stuff!!

You will need some great jeans. My favourites were from Gap Maternity with a big stretchy band at the top. Under the bump jeans were shite - uncomfy and fell down a lot etc. Mamas and Papas also great.
