Had highlights done a couple of days ago but they're too light, my hair looks like im going grey! When i was mousey and wanted to look a bit blonder i would wear it down against a black top and it would look blondish. Which colour can i wear now to make it look more golden and less white? maybe tied back and a white top? p.s i don't own any beige or yellow clothes.

Merry Christmas!

Put a semi-permanent (or 4-6 wash if less brave) golden tint WITHOUT ANY BLEACH IN on (all) hair. Go for one that's slightly darker than desired end result cos it'll come out lighter on the bleach. Diacolour(?) or something like that - my hairdresser in Brussels used to do that anyway with highlights to avoid the initial 'obvious stripes' look (they tend to do them a bit 'thicker' there).

Back to cooking...

Is it what you asked for? If not you can ask hairdresser to tone it down for you.

Go back to hairdressers and ask them to sort out..maybe putting in darker colours.
Unless you chose from shade card and insisted they were what you wanted.

I wouldn't fiddle at home- bleached hair absorbs colour more than non bleached and you may end up with a complete mess.

Give it a week. I've found that my highligts often dull in the first few days. Stay clear from "home cures" - I speak from experience.
