Ok, sorry to shout but I need the full skills of the S&B boards for a truly major problem. I have just booked an italian beach holiday and discovered that they enforce a total ban on entering the swimming pools without - horror of horrors - a swimming cap.

Is there such a thing as a stylish swimming
cap? Help ladies, please!

we found this out the hard way a couple of years ago and ended up with some really naff ones bought from the on site shop... what would you consider to be a stylish swim hat?!

Tortington · 20/12/2009 18:53

this is just the trick surely

duckyfuzz · 20/12/2009 18:53

Tortington · 20/12/2009 18:54

Great links, i like the punk one myself

duckyfuzz · 20/12/2009 18:57

love that first one custy!

fashy funky apparently

kazookazoo · 20/12/2009 18:57

i would get something like this in a funky colour to complement my 40s style bathing suit

think it depends on your suit style too though -- you could have a plain cap with a sporty speedo type thing ...

Custy, That one one is perfect!!!! But Ithink the pearls may drag me under water!

Yes Duckyfuzz we will need them for the whole family - me, DH, image conscious 15 yr old DD and increasingly image conscious 12 yr old DS.

There is no such thing as stylish when it comes to swimming hats. So since whatever you get will look like hell, I would go for lycra, because it won't pull all your hair out by the roots will be more comfortable.

glinda · 20/12/2009 19:16

Thanks Kurri, I suspect that you are right. Just to add to the problem I have a huge head! Does anyone know of a brand which makes large sizes so that I can avoid the attractive red line across the forehead when i take it off (about a nano second after leaving the pool|)
