Can anyone find me some jersey trousers please?

Preferably with an elasticated waist and wide legs. Not too expensive as I want to lose weight, so hopefully won't need to wear them forever. Thanks.

M&S have lots of different ones.

cece · 18/12/2009 21:05

Thanks I looked on M&S and they all look a bit old lady to me! Perhaps they look better in real life. Forgot to say I want black. I am currently wearing my maternity black jersey trousers. I want some just like that but without them falling down!

BTW I have a 7 month old and since havign him can now only get into 3 pairs of my old trousers! I am thoroughly bored with them!

Try Hush. They do some lovely wide legged trousers with flattering fold-over tops

cece · 18/12/2009 21:10

Oh tulpe that is just what I want but sadly the ones you describe aren't made in my size. They stop at a size 16

Cece - anything at Sweaty Betty? they go up to an 18.

cece · 19/12/2009 11:53

Thanks. I am not sure if the 18 will fit. I was an 18 but most of my clothes now don't fit, hence the need for these trousers to see me though xmas! Is Sweaty Betty on the small or big side of 18?

QVC were doing this range of jersey clothes the other day.

White Company

Very comfy and code style gets 20% off

cece · 19/12/2009 12:19

Anyone know how stretchy the white company ones are? I am tempted to order some!

I'm living in these. Wore them when I was pg and they are soooo comfy so I bought them in a much smaller size and they're lovely. I'm a size 20/22 and wear these in a 16. They have a turn top which is better for me as an elasticated waist would cut me in half.

RockBird · 19/12/2009 13:18

Oooh, those White Company ones look nice. Similar to what I'm wearing but I desperately want grey trousers as am sick of black. Would they fit me do you think?

cece · 19/12/2009 13:35

Oh rockbird, they look good! I am going into town in a mo so might have a look in Next. Not somewhere I normally shop. They tend to cater for pear shapes and I am an apple shape.

White co ones v stretchy but thighs quite slim.

RockBird · 19/12/2009 15:53

Well I've ordered some and I'll see what happens. They just look so comfy which is my main consideration, old gimmer that I am!

cece · 19/12/2009 16:08

rockbird you are bird after my own heart. tracey, if thighs slim then I might be OK, as that is my only bit that is smallish! Think I might risk it too.

The EllieGray ones have turned up. They are on the generous size for the size I ordered, so very comfy. Not sure how they look yet but at least I have soemthing to wear!

quite a few by Young Fabulous and Broke in the my-wardrobe sale here

RockBird · 30/12/2009 15:44

My White Company trousers turned up today. They're lovely and soft, slighty more tracksuit bottomy than I wanted but they would just about work with boots and a decent top. Love the roll top though. The buggers reduced them from £25 to £17.50 a couple of days ago though, too late for me
