Need urgent help over Whistles' sizing, please!

DD1 wants a coat from Whistles sale for her xmas present. She's normally a size 10 but she's a gal who wraps up warm and wears lots of layers.

I know nothing about Whistles' sizing: should I be going for a 10 or a 12?

Need to buy today (please don't grass me up to Justine) so any whistles wisdom gratefully received!

I am a 10/12 and tend to buy a 12 from Whistles. Not so keen on anything being too, er, snug, these days...

Whistles sizing is small, really small in fact. I think there XL is nearly a 14. So definately a 12 I would say.

Their sizing is ridiculous.
I have been a size 10 to 12 for years! And I am a size 10/12 most places.

is the coat fitted?

they have some very wide cut coats and some lovely tailored ones.
I would go for a ten in the balloon shaped ones and 12 in the straight cut /tailored ones

pag is right

It's belted and quite tailored. So sounds like I should be going for the 12 then.
Thank you v much.

I think that Whistkes stuff comes up huge. I am normally a 12 but even a ten in Whistles is often too big.
