whats the difference between eau de toilette and eau de parfum??

im trying to buy some aftershave online i can;t remeber if i smelt the toilette or parfum in the shops earlier

I think the Eau de parfum is more concentrated.

EDT is weaker than EDP-EDP is subsequently more expensive.There should be no difference in the fragrance,just the longevity.

y y Eau de parfum is more concentrated and therefore longer lasting and 'fuller'. 'tis just different dilutions of the same scent.

thats weird as it says the toilette is more suitable for evening wear and the parfum for day wear thought it would be the vice versa hmmmmm

Well, Eau de parfum will last all day whilst Eau de toilette will only last half a day (or an evening)...
