Black boots, navy/green skirt - what colour tights?

The title says it all really - I've just bought the skirt in the sale, but not sure about tights. Do I have to wear black tights because of black boots (although no black in skirt), or do I pick out a colour from the skirt? I'm really hopeless at this sort of thing, and rarely wear skirts, so your help is much appreciated. The skirt is above knee, by the way, so the tights will show.

Black tights for sure. Maybe a fine crotchet knit?

Coloured tights are very hrd to get right.
