Monsoon do a range of summer clothes through the winter.

Nothing really grabs me - the shoulder straps are an issue

Actually, try H&M. We went away in November last year and I picked up 6 summer dresses from their clearance rails for £1 each.

But I don't really know what goes with them....green, brown, trying to avoid black, maybe I should give up

It's black but ime would look better with bright or sivlery/gold sandals.

You might also be able to pick up some wintersun clothes either at the airport or on holiday. Have a lovely time.

Why don't you take some christmas bows and tinsel and decorate your shoes and handbag to match and be in the christmas spirit and then it doesn't matter what dress your wearing

I am also going away - next month and the amount of clothes I have is ridiculous! I think I might need to start paring in down soon - I am going for 2 weeks though.....
