Help! Need instructions for Lush Caca Rouge Henna ASAP

Hi

Hope you can help me. Am at my DM's house and we're supposed to be henna-ing my hair with Lush Caca Rouge this morning. She's got the blocks of henna, but think she must have thrown the instructions out by mistake.

Anyone know what we need to do?

think you grate it , mix with v hot water to make a thick paste and then apply it to your head and wrap in clingfilm to make it redder IIRC. although it never seemed to go that red on me

Thanks v much Searched the Lush site but couldn't find instructions (though probably just wasn't looking properly due to being in a flap!!) Used it before in the past and it turned my hair a great colour, but it was sooo long ago!!

What Lulumama said, but I don't bother grating it, just break into blocks and cover with boiling water. I usually then put it over a pan of simmering water to get it really hot again after it has melted. (but be careful not to burn yourself!)

Leave as long as you can stand it- at least 1 hour but 2-3 is better.
The colour will improve over a few days.

And cover everything in newspaper!
