I really need a new pair, I'm currently wearing Oasis ones which were a nice fit but they wore to holes in the knees after about 4 months.

Just checked out Oasis website and the same jeans now have ripped detailing which I don't want.

Anyone recommend some?

FCUK have some in the sale iirc from glancing at the website earlier...

weepootle · 10/12/2009 20:35

Thanks, I'll go have a look.

None at the moment

dexter73 · 10/12/2009 20:42

Gap like these.

dexter73 · 10/12/2009 20:43

Just seen that you don't want ripped detailing so Gap ones are out!

Adair · 10/12/2009 20:43

Oh no, hang on. I think they had a slight rip and that's why I rejected them! They have others though.
Got surprisingly decently fitting ones from Peacocks, though they won't last long.

weepootle · 10/12/2009 20:45

None in FCUK, Gap ones too distressed. Off to look at Next .

River Island, always River Island

weepootle · 10/12/2009 20:51

Ah yes- just noticed the ripped knee ones Adair, unfortunately no others - only skinny and boot cut.

Don't like any at Next.

I have some from Gap which aren't distressed. They were quite dark to begin with but have faded perfectly. Not sure where you would find them online (aside from ASOS). Otherwise try in store.

BikeRunSki · 10/12/2009 21:37

I had some fab ones fro, Fat Face. The style was called Bombara. I live in hope of them doing them again. I wore mine until they wore through at the inseams, knees and hems.

weepootle · 10/12/2009 21:56

BikeRunSki, I know exactly the ones you mean- I debated over those and a pair of Replays a couple of years ago, went for the Replays which were at least double the price and lasted about 6 months .

Fat Face was the first place I went, couldn't believe they didn't still have them or at least something similar.

I'm still raving on about my £12 Falmer jeans from Matalan
I like them so much I went back and bought a second pair

They are 'slouch' fit. Think they are my favourite fitting jeans ever - have overtaken my previous Oasis and Fat Face favs.

Matalan / Falmer have quite a few different styles and options of different leg lengths in each size, which was great for my short legs and fat arse

pippinlippin · 11/12/2009 20:28

Unliquo.Lovely soft comfy jeans and nice and worn looking. Love them! Not sure on style name. Think they're just bootcut, but nice loose fit.

weepootle · 11/12/2009 20:36

Just checked out Uniqlo- didn't see any boyfriend fit on their website.

Montifer, Falmer! Now there's a blast from the past - didn't know they were still going. I can remember Falmer were my mum's favourite when I was little, they were quite pricey too then.

Definitely off to Matalan this weekend, sounds very promising since you've previously worn the 2 others I've liked- thanks .
