I need a rug for our living room. Will have to order something on-line (story of my life as I can't find anything locally ... not that there's much choice .
The curtains are in this www.moodbox.co.uk/lugano-beige-3451-p.asp fabric, the carpet is cream and the fireplace a beige/cream travertine. Suite is a deep blue. I think something fairly neutral but it is going to sit infront of an open fire and if I go too plain, will show each and very mark. It needs to be around 200cm long by 140cm wide.
So, do I go for plain or patterned. Smooth pile or shaggy. Creams or beiges or something with some blue in it. Traditional or contemporary?
Oh, and if anyone can recommend an on-line supplier that they have used, I'd be most greateful.
