Looking for some long sleeve (not 3/4 length but full sleeve) t-shirts or tops, mainly to go under things - I've got a couple of dresses and some cardis that need something under.

I don't want traditional heavy t-shirt material but something more sheer and floaty / elegant.

Anybody seen anything like this anywhere? I can't find them - but them I'm not really very good at window shopping......

BonjourIvressedeNoel · 07/12/2009 22:26

They have some great cheap ones in primark, great for layering.

Thanks for the suggestions - of course typically its only the expensive ones that I really like!

Try American Apparel for lovely t-shirt material.

La redoute!

hmm

Uniqlo are fab for normal-weigth ones, but Land's End have started doing lightweight ones esp for layering thus

or on the cheaper side Joe Browns are usually quite thin - try the 2pks on here

I bought a nice one in M&S at the weekend. It is quite long in the body, is pale grey and very thin - not elegant but quite sheerwith a v slight flutter around the seams on the sleeves. I think it was about 12 squid.
