nail polish

Can anyone recommend a good nail polish that really does last??? I am also looking for the perfect dark red/brown colour. And it ideally needs to dry fast...... (or am I asking too much?)

I had red on last week for a party and it didn't look great even though I left it an hour before doing anything. This week I put on one coat of shiny shell like pink before jumping in a cab it looks lovely as you can't see the edges and is more forgiving. Still on my nails now and you don't notice the little chips.

If you want dark brown red it has to be Chanel rouge noir. Hopefully they still do it, I haven't bought any for ages as rarely get time to do my nails nowadays. Will try find a link...

Thanks, that is the colour I am going for, but wasn't sure if it actually lasted really well.

It used to last pretty well iirc, especially if you apply 2 / 3 coats and let each dry well.

Would second rouge noir and also a clear top coat - makes a big difference.
