I've just bought a very mediocre plain black polo-neck in Gap which will just about do service.

Would be eternally grateful..

seen some in primark, they looked very narrow so should be fairly fitted

I have this from M&S which is a useful basic.

Ooh, thanks very much indeed, I looked in M&S but didn't spot those, MrsS, they look nice, lovely colours too. I'll check out the Primark ones too, as I was looking for the narrow ones with chunkier ribs I remember from the seventies..
