Okay, this may be a controversial statement (what? On MN? Never........) BUT I think spending £200 for a fab pair of boots is worthwhile.

I have a pair of black knee high heeled boots from Hobbs which cost me £200 5 years ago. Am just having them re-soled for the first time ever. They still are in perfect nick.

However, for bargainous and funky boots, I don't think you can beat Faith. I have a pair of biker boots which are 2 years old and still going strong.

oh god buy them. I just bought a pair of those fitflop short Mukluk boots yesterday and totally overpaid for them (£125 everywhere, I paid £149.99) in Sole Trader as they are sold out everywhere else and the shop assistant said when I pointed it out "We are the only in this town selling them so we can charge what we like".
