reaction after waxing- any beauticians?

Okay- waxed my DH's gorilla like back last weekend with strips- Veet. Immediately after he came out in loads of red spots quite small but raised.
A week on they are still there- getting smaller but still there.
Is he allergic to Veet? any wax? or should we have done something post waxing?

I'm not a beautician but when I get waxing done the therapist usually applies something like aloe cream.

Don't quote me on this but people can get folliculitis after waxing - inflammation of the hair follicles.

thanks have read the link- the thing is, it came up instantly and I thought it would go away quickly- butit hasn't.
